WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE ME AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

A calm presence, a good eye, and someone who genuinely cares about your photographs.

Your wedding day is full of moments you'll want to remember - the people you love, the way it all felt, the things that happened too quickly, and the ones you never saw coming.

I'm there for all of it. I'll help you feel comfortable when the camera is on you, keep an eye on the little things, make sure you don't spend your whole day taking photos, and know when to step in and when to simply let things happen.

Mostly, I'm there to make sure you feel like you can actually be yourselves. Because your photographs should be beautiful, but they should also feel honest, effortless, and completely you.

SO, WHAT DOES WORKING WITH ME ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?

A little candid. A little intentional. A whole lot of support.

From the moment you reach out, you won't be left wondering what happens next.

I'll help you figure out what you actually need from your wedding photography, answer your questions, talk through the details, and make sure you feel prepared long before the wedding day arrives.

When the day finally comes, you can relax knowing I've got the photography covered. I'll keep things moving when we need to, help you feel comfortable when the camera is on you, and quietly pay attention to all the little moments happening around you.

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to have a perfect timeline. And you definitely don't need to spend your entire wedding day taking photos.

You just get to be there. I'll take care of the rest.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

HI, I'M IRENE.

The person behind the camera - and your biggest cheerleader on the other side of it!!!

I'm a photographer, storyteller, and professional third wheel based in Toronto, Ontario.

I started Arcadia Collective because I wanted to create photographs that felt like real people… not perfectly posed versions of them. The kind of photographs that hold onto the little things: your cute laugh, the way you look at each other when no one's watching, the people who showed up for you, and all the wonderfully imperfect moments in between.

I'm also a firm believer that you don't need to be “good at photos” to have photographs you love. You just need to show up as yourselves. I'll take care of the rest.

So if you're looking for someone who will make you laugh, keep things moving, notice the details, and probably get a little too excited when the lighting is good...

CANDID WHEN IT MATTERS. PRESENT WHEN IT COUNTS.

You won't have to wonder whether I'm paying attention.

On your wedding day, I'm watching for the moments you might miss while you're busy living them.

The laugh that happens in the middle of a conversation. Your partner reaching for your hand without thinking. Your parents getting emotional during the ceremony. Your friends completely losing themselves on the dance floor.

I'll be there for the big moments, of course. But I'll also be paying attention to everything happening around them - the people, the energy, the little details, and all the wonderfully unscripted bits in between.

And while I'm there to document it all, I'm not going to have you posing for me every five minutes. I'll give you direction when it's helpful, then let you get back to being present with the people you came to celebrate with.

Your job is to enjoy your wedding. My job is to notice what you'll want to remember.

FOR COUPLES WHO'D RATHER BE THEMSELVES

For the couples who care more about how it feels than how it looks.

Maybe you're planning a big celebration surrounded by everyone you love. Maybe you're keeping things small and heading somewhere beautiful. Maybe you're somewhere in between.

Whatever your wedding looks like, I'm here for the people who want to actually live their day - not spend it performing for a camera.

The sentimental ones. The goofy ones. The ones who swear they're awkward in photos. The ones who can't stop looking at each other. The ones who want the beautiful portraits and the photographs that feel a little messy, a little unexpected, and completely theirs.

If you're kind, a little goofy, deeply in love, and want your photographs to feel like you rather than a version of yourselves you've seen on Pinterest...

I think we're going to get along just fine.
